HUGEL Celebrates 21 Years In Music With Debut Album Twenty One

French DJ and producer HUGEL has released his long-awaited debut studio album Twenty One, arriving via Make The Girls Dance Records.

The 21-track project marks a significant milestone for the artist, arriving 21 years after he first began DJing in his hometown of Marseille. Across the album, HUGEL expands on the Latin House and Afro House sound that has helped establish him as one of dance music’s most commercially successful artists, bringing together an extensive cast of collaborators spanning hip-hop, R&B and electronic music.

Featured guests include Snoop Dogg, Big Sean, French Montana, NBA YoungBoy, Roy Woods, David Guetta, Scott Storch, Ultra Naté and Tokischa among others.

The album follows a landmark period in HUGEL’s career. Over the past year, the Marseille-born producer surpassed one billion annual streams and grew to more than 27 million monthly listeners on Spotify, further cementing his position as one of the most visible names in contemporary dance music.

Earlier this year, HUGEL made his debut at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where he was joined on stage by Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, French Montana, Roy Woods, Ty Dolla $ign and Murda Beatz. The release also arrives alongside the return of his Make The Girls Dance residency at Hï Ibiza and new residencies at Encore Beach Club and EBC at Night in Las Vegas.

Blending Afro House, Latin House, hip-hop and crossover songwriting, Twenty One reflects the increasingly global nature of contemporary dance music while serving as the most ambitious project of HUGEL’s career to date.

Twenty One is out now via Make The Girls Dance Records.
