"Origins and Formation of the DJ Duo"
In an industry where partnerships often arise from professional networking or industry connections, this dynamic DJ duo offers a story that resonates with genuine passion and camaraderie.
We are both born and raised in Germany, but our roots are from Croatia. In 2012 we met at a basketball club where we played together for a few years. During this period we were sharing tracks and also talked a lot about electronic music. By the end of 2015 a friend bought some equipment and invited us to his place to try it a little bit. We immediately fell in love. A few months later, it was august 2016, we had our first party together!
How has your musical style evolved over time? Are there any particular genres or artists that have influenced you?
We grew up with Hip Hop & R&B which influenced us a lot. A few years later we got familiar with deep house and tech house but everything changed when we went to ibiza. It was Marco Carola with Music On at Amnesia who showed us into what kind of music we really are. Our minds were blown away! Thanks for this, Marco :D
"Most Memorable Career Moment"
In a nod to their transformative Ibiza experiences, the duo cites their July performance at Elrow on Amnesia's famed terrace as their career pinnacle so far. What began as a dream during their Music On nights has come full circle, marking a milestone that symbolizes both their ambition and their journey in the electronic music scene.
What’s been the most memorable moment of your career so far?
For both of us it was this year’s performance in July for Elrow at the Amnesia terrace! It was our biggest dream to play there ever since those crazy Music On nights.
As artists who’ve performed in many countries, do you incorporate international influences into your music?
What can fans look forward to in the near future in terms of music releases?
We have some nice releases coming up. In December you‘ll be able to listen to "Hood Safari" which will be part of the next VA of our label NoZzo Music. Our single track EP
"Closer To Earth" will be coming out on Colombian party and music label "Grood Taste" and in February we are releasing another EP with wAFF’s imprint "Nature“. Super excited for all 3 releases as we played those tracks a lot of times and they worked very well on the dance floor. Besides of that we also got a lot of support from Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Archie Hamilton, wAFF and many others for these ones!
When this duo takes the stage, they bring more than just their musical prowess—they infuse the atmosphere with infectious positivity. Describing their style as "happy music", their performances are all about creating good vibes. From their smiles to their dynamic crowd interaction, their energy is a vital component that turns each show into an electrifying party.
How would you describe the energy and charisma you both bring into your shows?
It’s a party and this means it should be about the good times! For us and especially for the crowd! In our opinion we play „happy music“ so it‘s very important for us to also spread good vibes! We are the type of DJs that smile and dance a lot, interact with the crowd etc. This is for sure a part of the energy that we have and also create during a party, besides of the music that helps us to keep the hips shaking.
How do your personal values align with the music you produce, and how does that impact your relationship with the artists you work with?
As already mentioned previously it’s about the good times and vibes - with our productions we are trying to create these feelings within each and every track. Our tracks help us to express how we feel and who we are! Two guys sharing their passion for electronic music with a bit of extra love for details. If you know our tracks, you already know that we also love to collaborate with others. It’s so nice to see that our style works so good together with the style of many other friends from around the world. Through the years we were able to learn from friends but also to give them some advice regarding their productions, career or work ethic in general. We guess it’s the German mentality that helped us to focus properly on work ever since we started. :-)
"The Origin of NoZzo”
The name 'NoZzo' serves as a tribute to the unyielding energy and vibrant spirit of party-goers. Inspired by a fleet of Italian buses full of enthusiastic fans at the Time Warp Festival in Germany, the term 'NoZzo' was born as a shortened version of 'Italianozzos'. Symbolizing nothing less than "Party people," the name encapsulates the duo's mission to create music that energizes and unites revelers from all walks of life.
What’s the story behind the name NoZzo? How does it reflect your musical ethos?
We attended the Time Warp Festival in Germany a couple of times and were amazed by how many busses from Italy came all the way to Mannheim! The busses were full of party people in crazy outfits and they were dancing from the beginning until the end. A good friend of us named them Italianozzos and since the name was too long we decided to call them Nozzos. Basically this word means in our crew nothing else than
“Party people”. A few years later we were looking for a name for our brand and it was the easiest decision ever!
Do you have any rituals or practices that you do before going on stage to help focus your energy?
Sometimes, the traveling can be exhausting, so Tomi likes to sleep before the show. No one wants to see a 2 meters tall tired guy behind the decks, haha! Mario/Kesh likes to go to the gym, to do some work for the mind and his dance endurance :D
Are there any collaborations with other artists that we can expect in your upcoming releases?
Besides our long term collab partners Alessandro Diruggiero and Gustaff, we also have some fresh tunes with upcoming talent Hutu and Kevin York, who are both part of the NoZzo family.
You mentioned that you’re working on a lot of new music. Can you give us a sneak peek into what kind of music you’re creating?
Of course! We recently finished a track named „In the Morning“ and it has a bit more housey vibes but with our typical style. Another new one - Confetti - is also a track that we are super proud of. Cool groove and catchy vocal! Both tracks are atypical for us as they are a different from what we usually produce. Buuuuut we can tell you that we love these tracks and they are dance floor heaters!
Can you also share some more about the expansion of your label NoZzo? What's in the pipeline for Europe and South America?
With the music label we are focusing to establish our sound more and more and of course to make the Label bigger and more famous. There are always different ways how to do it, but we want to stick with the sound that NoZzo stands for. This means that we really don’t care how much Followers the producer has, it’s only about the music. By now we are super happy of what kind of demos we are receiving. Big up to all the guys that are putting effort into their work just to be able to sign with us! We appreciate this fact more than anyone can imagine and it makes us so proud!
As for the events we have 4 shows per year in Switzerland and 8-10 shows per year in Germany. Besides of this we have every now and then a showcase in other countries like Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Romania and Spain. Italy will be added to the list from December 23 on! We will also do another NoZzo open air festival in Germany next year, just like we did it this year. We don‘t want to rush things as we want the brand to grow in an organic way.
You’ve had quite the extensive European tour lined up, from Stuttgart to Ibiza and beyond. How do you prepare differently for each city’s musical atmosphere?
To be honest, we never prepare before a party! It‘s always a challenge for us as we don‘t have a clue what the other part of the duo is going to play! We just go with the flow :) The only thing that we usually do is to come like an hour before our set to check the party, crowd, vibe etc. - everything else is super spontaneous!
As artists who’ve performed in many countries, do you incorporate international influences into your music?"
Absolutely! whenever we come back from a tour, we have some influences that you can hear in our music. Our tracks "Grood Taste“, "Infinity“ and "More Music“ are the perfect example as they were produced with lots of inspirations that we had from our South America tours. These tracks have definitely the latin bounce & vibe which we really love. :-)
You have multiple upcoming shows at Kowalski in Stuttgart, some of which are NoZzo showcases. Can you tell us what makes this venue so special that you’re returning multiple times?
Kowalski is easily one of the best clubs in Germany. Besides the fact that it is in our hometown and we always play in front of a lot of friends and people we know, it also has an amazing sound system. The venue as itself is also a vibe! Whenever we play there, we feel like we‘re performing in our living room. The owners are amazing and so is the whole staff. We couldn‘t ask for a better place to have our NoZzo parties!
You recently had your NoZzo showcase at Tantra Ibiza in Septembe. How was that experience different from your other shows in Ibiza, such as Elrow Amnesia and Now Here at Hï?
Wow! That night was beyond our expectations. We were super satisfied of how the party went. From the beginning until the end it was packed and the music was 1000% NoZzo Music. It‘s hard to compare all those parties as they are so different when you consider the venues and amount of people, but there is still something that we want to point out. Since Tantra is an intimate venue, we were super close to the people and the vibe was magical all night long. The sounds system was also pumping and this is something that you can’t get in a big club. There you have some spots where you barely feel the bass or it‘s less loud for example. At a smaller venue it can help to create a better vibe and luckily this is what happened at the first NoZzo Ibiza.
Balancing a Demanding Schedule with Unwavering Energy
The jet-setting lifestyle of Tomi & Kesh is a dream come true for many, but it also comes with its own set of challenges—mainly, how to maintain energy levels amidst a jam-packed touring schedule. For the duo, it's not just about self-care; it's about a commitment to their fans. Recognizing that people often go to great lengths to attend their shows, they feel a responsibility to bring their A-game every time they hit the stage. From party to after-party, they're determined to deliver unforgettable experiences, fueled by the energy of knowing that they're helping others escape life's stresses, if only for a few hours. And when the weekend's over? That's their time to recharge, ready to do it all over again.
Your schedule includes various cities in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK, and Switzerland. How do you find the energy to keep up with such a demanding schedule?
Of course all the traveling and partying can be exhausting sometimes, it’s human! What helps us is to think about that there are people coming to a party that paid money for tickets or traveled a couple of hours just to have a good time, forget about their problems and to dance.. We don’t want to disappoint them so we are doing our best to be as fresh as possible with enough energy for the main party and the afters if necessary, haha! Once the weekend is over we can recover just to be fresh for the next shows :)

"Orígenes y Formación del Dúo de DJs"
En una industria donde las asociaciones a menudo surgen de redes profesionales o conexiones de la industria, este dinámico dúo de DJs ofrece una historia que resuena con pasión genuina y camaradería.
Ambos nacimos y crecimos en Alemania, pero nuestras raíces son de Croacia. En 2012 nos conocimos en un club de baloncesto donde jugamos juntos durante unos años. Durante este período compartíamos pistas y también hablábamos mucho sobre música electrónica. A finales de 2015, un amigo compró algo de equipo y nos invitó a su casa a probar un poco. Nos enamoramos de inmediato. Unos meses después, en agosto de 2016, ¡tuvimos nuestra primera fiesta juntos!
¿Cómo ha evolucionado tu estilo musical con el tiempo? ¿Hay algún género o artista en particular que te haya influenciado?
Crecimos con Hip Hop & R&B, lo que nos influenció mucho. Unos años más tarde nos familiarizamos con el deep house y el tech house, pero todo cambió cuando fuimos a Ibiza. Fue Marco Carola con Music On en Amnesia quien nos mostró el tipo de música que realmente nos gusta. ¡Nuestras mentes estaban alucinadas! Gracias por esto, Marco :D
"El Momento más Memorable de su Carrera"
En un guiño a sus transformadoras experiencias en Ibiza, el dúo cita su actuación de julio en Elrow en la famosa terraza de Amnesia como el punto culminante de su carrera hasta ahora. Lo que comenzó como un sueño durante sus noches de Music On ha llegado a un punto completo, marcando un hito que simboliza tanto su ambición como su trayectoria en la escena de la música electrónica.
Para ambos fue la actuación de este año en julio para Elrow en la terraza de Amnesia. ¡Fue nuestro mayor sueño tocar allí desde esas locas noches de Music On!
Como artistas que han actuado en muchos países, ¿incorporan influencias internacionales en su música ¿Qué pueden esperar los fans en un futuro cercano en términos de lanzamientos musicales?
Tenemos algunos lanzamientos interesantes en camino. En diciembre podrán escuchar "Hood Safari", que será parte del próximo VA de nuestro sello NoZzo Music. Nuestro EP de una sola pista "Closer To Earth" saldrá en el sello colombiano de fiestas y música "Good Taste" y en febrero estamos lanzando otro EP con el sello de wAFF "Nature". Súper emocionados por los 3 lanzamientos, ya que tocamos esas pistas muchas veces y funcionaron muy bien en la pista de baile. Además de eso, también recibimos mucho apoyo de Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Archie Hamilton, wAFF y muchos otros para estos temas.
Cuando este dúo sube al escenario, traen más que solo su destreza musical: infunden la atmósfera con una positividad contagiosa. Describiendo su estilo como "música feliz", sus presentaciones se tratan de crear buenas vibras. Desde sus sonrisas hasta su dinámica interacción con el público, su energía es un componente vital que convierte cada espectáculo en una fiesta electrizante.
¿Cómo describirían la energía y el carisma que ambos aportan a sus shows?
Es una fiesta y esto significa que debe ser sobre los buenos momentos. ¡Para nosotros y especialmente para el público! En nuestra opinión, tocamos "música feliz", por lo que es muy importante para nosotros también difundir buenas vibras. Somos el tipo de DJs que sonríen y bailan mucho, interactúan con el público, etc. Esto es, sin duda, parte de la energía que tenemos y también creamos durante una fiesta, además de la música que nos ayuda a mantener las caderas moviéndose.
¿Cómo se alinean sus valores personales con la música que producen y cómo impacta eso en su relación con los artistas con los que trabajan?
Como ya mencionamos anteriormente, se trata de los buenos tiempos y vibras - con nuestras producciones intentamos crear estos sentimientos en cada pista. Nuestras pistas nos ayudan a expresar cómo nos sentimos y quiénes somos. Dos chicos compartiendo su pasión por la música electrónica con un poco de amor extra por los detalles. Si conoces nuestras pistas, ya sabes que también nos encanta colaborar con otros. Es muy agradable ver que nuestro estilo funciona tan bien junto con el estilo de muchos otros amigos de todo el mundo. A lo largo de los años, hemos podido aprender de amigos, pero también darles algunos consejos sobre sus producciones, carrera o ética de trabajo en general. Suponemos que es la mentalidad alemana la que nos ayudó a enfocarnos adecuadamente en el trabajo desde que empezamos. :-)
El Origen de NoZzo
El nombre 'NoZzo' sirve como un homenaje a la energía inquebrantable y el espíritu vibrante de los fiesteros. Inspirado por una flota de autobuses italianos llenos de fanáticos entusiastas en el Time Warp Festival en Alemania, el término 'NoZzo' nació como una versión acortada de 'Italianozzos'. Simbolizando nada menos que "Gente de fiesta", el nombre encapsula la misión del dúo de crear música que energiza y une a los juerguistas de todos los ámbitos de la vida.
¿Cuál es la historia detrás del nombre NoZzo? ¿Cómo refleja su ethos musical?
Asistimos al Time Warp Festival en Alemania varias veces y nos asombró cuántos autobuses de Italia llegaron hasta Mannheim. Los autobuses estaban llenos de gente de fiesta en atuendos locos y bailaban desde el principio hasta el final. Un buen amigo nuestro los llamó Italianozzos y, ya que el nombre era demasiado largo, decidimos llamarlos Nozzos. Básicamente, esta palabra significa en nuestro grupo nada más que "Gente de fiesta". Unos años más tarde, estábamos buscando un nombre para nuestra marca y fue la decisión más fácil de todas.
¿Tienen algún ritual o práctica que hagan antes de subir al escenario para ayudar a enfocar su energía?
A veces, los viajes pueden ser agotadores, así que a Tomi le gusta dormir antes del show. ¡Nadie quiere ver a un tipo de 2 metros de altura cansado detrás de las mesas, jaja! A Mario/Kesh le gusta ir al gimnasio, para hacer algo de trabajo para la mente y su resistencia para bailar :D
¿Hay alguna colaboración con otros artistas que podamos esperar en sus próximos lanzamientos?
Además de nuestros socios de colaboración a largo plazo Alessandro Diruggiero y Gustaff, también tenemos algunas melodías frescas con talentos emergentes como Hutu y Kevin York, que también son parte de la familia NoZzo.
Mencionaron que están trabajando en mucha música nueva. ¿Pueden darnos un adelanto de qué tipo de música están creando?
¡Por supuesto! Recientemente terminamos una pista llamada "In the Morning" y tiene un poco más de vibras house, pero con nuestro estilo típico. Otra nueva - Confetti - también es una pista de la que estamos súper orgullosos. ¡Groove genial y vocal pegajoso! Ambas pistas son atípicas para nosotros, ya que son diferentes de lo que usualmente producimos. Peroooo podemos decirles que amamos estas pistas y son calentadoras de pistas de baile.
¿Pueden compartir algo más sobre la expansión de su sello NoZzo? ¿Qué hay en el horizonte para Europa y Sudamérica?
Con el sello musical, nos estamos enfocando en establecer más y más nuestro sonido y, por supuesto, hacer que el sello sea más grande y famoso. Siempre hay diferentes maneras de hacerlo, pero queremos apegarnos al sonido por el que NoZzo se destaca. Esto significa que realmente no nos importa cuántos seguidores tenga el productor, solo se trata de la música. Hasta ahora estamos súper felices con el tipo de demos que estamos recibiendo. ¡Un gran reconocimiento a todos los chicos que se esfuerzan en su trabajo solo para poder firmar con nosotros! Apreciamos este hecho más de lo que cualquiera pueda imaginar y nos hace sentir muy orgullosos.
En cuanto a los eventos, tenemos 4 shows al año en Suiza y 8-10 shows al año en Alemania. Además de esto, de vez en cuando tenemos una muestra en otros países como Colombia, Costa Rica, Croacia, Rumania y España. ¡Italia se agregará a la lista a partir del 23 de diciembre! También haremos otro festival al aire libre de NoZzo en Alemania el próximo año, tal como lo hicimos este año. No queremos apresurar las cosas, ya que queremos que la marca crezca de manera orgánica.
Han tenido una extensa gira europea programada, desde Stuttgart hasta Ibiza y más allá. ¿Cómo se preparan de manera diferente para la atmósfera musical de cada ciudad?
Para ser honestos, ¡nunca nos preparamos antes de una fiesta! Siempre es un desafío para nosotros, ya que no tenemos idea de lo que la otra parte del dúo va a tocar. Simplemente nos dejamos llevar :) Lo único que solemos hacer es llegar como una hora antes de nuestro set para verificar la fiesta, el público, el ambiente, etc. ¡todo lo demás es súper espontáneo!
Como artistas que han actuado en muchos países, ¿incorporan influencias internacionales en su música?
¡Absolutamente! Cada vez que volvemos de una gira, tenemos algunas influencias que puedes escuchar en nuestra música. Nuestras pistas "Grood Taste", "Infinity" y "More Music" son el ejemplo perfecto, ya que fueron producidas con muchas inspiraciones que tuvimos de nuestras giras por Sudamérica. Estas pistas definitivamente tienen el rebote y la vibra latina que realmente nos encanta. :-)
Tienen varios shows próximos en Kowalski en Stuttgart, algunos de los cuales son showcases de NoZzo. ¿Pueden decirnos qué hace tan especial a este lugar que regresan varias veces?
Kowalski es fácilmente uno de los mejores clubes en Alemania. Además del hecho de que está en nuestra ciudad natal y siempre tocamos frente a muchos amigos y personas que conocemos, también tiene un sistema de sonido increíble. ¡El propio lugar también es un ambiente! Siempre que tocamos allí, sentimos que estamos actuando en nuestra sala de estar. Los dueños son increíbles y también lo es todo el personal. ¡No podríamos pedir un lugar mejor para tener nuestras fiestas NoZzo!
Recientemente tuvieron su showcase NoZzo en Tantra Ibiza en septiembre. ¿Cómo fue esa experiencia diferente de sus otros shows en Ibiza, como Elrow Amnesia y Now Here en Hï? ¡Wow! Esa noche superó nuestras expectativas. Quedamos súper satisfechos de cómo fue la fiesta. Desde el principio hasta el final estaba lleno y la música era 1000% NoZzo Music. Es difícil comparar todas esas fiestas, ya que son tan diferentes cuando consideras los lugares y la cantidad de personas, pero aún hay algo que queremos señalar. Dado que Tantra es un lugar íntimo, estuvimos súper cerca de la gente y el ambiente fue mágico toda la noche. El sistema de sonido también estaba bombeando y esto es algo que no puedes conseguir en un club grande. Allí tienes algunos lugares donde apenas sientes el bajo o, por ejemplo, es menos fuerte. En un lugar más pequeño puede ayudar a crear un mejor ambiente y afortunadamente eso fue lo que sucedió en el primer NoZzo Ibiza.
Equilibrando un Horario Exigente con Energía Inagotable
El estilo de vida jet-set de Tomi & Kesh es un sueño hecho realidad para muchos, pero también viene con su propio conjunto de desafíos, principalmente, cómo mantener los niveles de energía en medio de un apretado horario de giras. Para el dúo, no se trata solo de autocuidado; se trata de un compromiso con sus fanáticos. Reconociendo que la gente a menudo hace grandes esfuerzos para asistir a sus shows, sienten la responsabilidad de traer su mejor juego cada vez que suben al escenario. Desde la fiesta hasta el after, están decididos a ofrecer experiencias inolvidables, alimentados por la energía de saber que están ayudando a otros a escapar de las tensiones de la vida, aunque solo sea por unas horas. ¿Y cuando termina el fin de semana? Ese es su momento para recargarse, listos para hacerlo todo de nuevo.
Su agenda incluye varias ciudades en Alemania, Países Bajos, España, Reino Unido y Suiza. ¿Cómo encuentran la energía para mantenerse al día con un horario tan exigente?
Por supuesto, todos los viajes y las fiestas pueden ser agotadores a veces, ¡es humano! Lo que nos ayuda es pensar en que hay personas que vienen a una fiesta que pagaron dinero por entradas o viajaron un par de horas solo para pasar un buen rato, olvidarse de sus problemas y bailar. No queremos decepcionarlos, así que hacemos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para estar lo más frescos posible con suficiente energía para la fiesta principal y los afters si es necesario, ¡jaja! Una vez que termina el fin de semana, podemos recuperarnos solo para estar frescos para los próximos shows :)
